Selection Guidelines for Activated Carbon Adsorption Boxes for Low-Concentration VOCs

Activated carbon adsorption boxes are commonly used for low-concentration organic waste gas and odor control. Typical applications include printing, coating, packaging, rubber, plastic, laboratory exhaust, and collected workshop emissions.

Selection should not only focus on housing size. Air volume, waste gas concentration, temperature, humidity, and pollutant type all need to be considered. Uniform carbon filling, balanced airflow distribution, and controlled resistance directly affect adsorption efficiency and operating cost.

For higher concentrations or long continuous operation, multi-stage adsorption, spray pretreatment, or combination with catalytic combustion equipment can be used to improve system stability and reduce activated carbon replacement frequency.
